The Arundo Destroyers (Jean and Mark Hengesbaugh, Tom Skinner, Fred Heath, Peggy Wenrick, and I) went out last week to re-survey spots formerly invested with Giant Reed (more on that in the coming weeks; the news is GOOD!) and we saw lots of wildlife, including these extra-large caterpillars of the
Splendid Royal Moth on
Wild Cotton (
Gossypium thurberi), as expected. See
