Another Mint

Joan made a positive i.d. of these stunning red flowers growing along the creek. (They're rather difficult to get to - trust me.) One common name for Stachys coccinea is Texas Betony; one I like better is Scarlet Sage. Either way, they're in the Mint Family (Lamiaceae) and hummingbirds like them.
