This plant was seen recently on the Bluff trail. Unlike the photo on
this page, the centers of these flowers - and the entire stems - were a cheery pink. This is in the Amaranth Family (Amaranthacea) and is called Fringed Amaranth (or Fringed Pigweed) (
Amaranthus fimbiratus).
